We have taken delivery of a new Buhler SCD84 diecasting cell
A full diecasting cell comprising of a Buhler SCD84 machine, Wollin die sprayer, Westofen dosing furnace, ABB robot and Reis 65 tonne press is being installed at Lupton & Place’s site in Burnley.
This takes the number of diecasting cells to 12, and increases capacity to 900 tonnes locking force thereby allowing the production of larger aluminium castings.
